Little Lamb Preschool is a children's ministry of Wye Bible Church. We offer love, support and an early childhood education to children 2, 3 & 4 years of age and their families. We believe that children learn best in a semi structured environment that consists of the lessons of Jesus, nurturing teachers, well rounded curriculum and hands on activities. Little Lamb Preschool prides its self on being a family oriented program that encourages family participation both during class and at our many programs throughout the year. Our open-door policy allows parents to feel secure about the care and education that their child are receiving, which in turn helps the children feel secure. A bright and friendly atmosphere located on the campus of Wye Bible Church promotes excitement in learning for our students and the staff. Families take pride in the education being provided to their children. The preschool building, newly renovated in 2007 was gifted from God through our awesome Christian community allowing us to provide classes for more than 100 students on a rotating class schedule. Classes are offered both AM and PM to allow for flexibility in family schedule and to cater to children's individual needs. For more information about class times please see the Class schedule page. Special programs provided through the year allow us to get to know the families and community. We provide Summer fun for our young friends that is offered to both new and old students. The Summer of 2009 included an Environmental camp where the children learned about things that live in the local environment. This included a trail where they explored critters such as snakes, frogs, turtles and skunks along with many others. The second camp was about farm animals. The children were able to see baby chicks and ducks that were hatched at LLP and we had visiting Llamas to enjoy and learn about. At Little Lamb Preschool we believe Christ should be the center of family life and we try and provide lot's of wholesome activities to promote this. Sharing our love for Jesus through education and daily life is a gift we all treasure at our school. |
